God of all compassion, we do not know why this has happened. Yet, we know that we are created in love and that you know us. We are never alone, no matter how dark and lonely life can seem. Restore and strengthen us, renew our faith in your love, and grant rest to N. whom we love, and whom we entrust into your loving arms and eternal Kingdom. We ask this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ
