Our work in the world

Healing and flourishing happen at every level of life – and each level shapes the others.  Individuals flourish when communities are healthy; communities thrive when organisations are life-giving; cultures shift when people and organisations show up differently.

We work across all of these levels, because lasting transformation requires both personal and systemic change – and we want to nurture the conditions in which flourishing becomes possible for everyone.

Individuals

Everything begins with people. We are each on our own journey of health, healing, faith, and wellbeing. We seek to support individuals to flourish within the realities of their lives, discovering greater wholeness, resilience, purpose, and connection.

Groups and Communities

Healing is rarely a solitary endeavour. We create spaces where people can learn, grow, reflect, and support one another. Through courses, networks, churches, and partnerships, we nurture communities that embody belonging, hope, and mutual care.

Organisations and Society

We work with leaders, churches, charities, health services, and other organisations to encourage approaches to wellbeing that are person-centred, evidence-informed, rooted in Christian faith, and responsive to the needs of communities. We seek to provoke fresh thinking and inspire practices that support healthier cultures and systems.

Movements and Systems Change

We recognise that many people and organisations are working towards a healthier and more flourishing world. Our role is to contribute to and strengthen this wider movement, bringing together faith, science, and community wisdom. We seek to be a catalyst, collaborator, and connector, helping to shape conversations, relationships, and systems that enable healing to spread far beyond any single organisation.

At every level, our hope is the same: to see lives transformed, communities strengthened, and a more healed and more healing world. Not a perfect one, but one in which people are equipped to live with compassion, courage and a commitment to healing amid the realities of life today.

The people at the heart of our work

GoHealth works with a wide range of people who are seeking to connect Christian faith and practice with health, healing and flourishing. This includes:

  • people seeking healing for themselves or others;
  • church leaders, lay and ordained;
  • doctors, nurses and allied health professionals;
  • leaders in Christian charities, networks and organisations;
  • academics, writers and thinkers working across theology, health and human flourishing;
  • churches and communities wanting to become places of deeper belonging and care.

People join in for different reasons. They may be:

  • personally seeking healing;
  • trying to support others;
  • leading communities through complexity;
  • reconnecting to their faith after a harmful experience in the church;
  • wanting richer theological and practical resources for their work.

Wherever people begin, our hope is that they find something of value: a place of belonging, a resource for their vocation, and a deeper confidence in God’s healing work.
