Gracious and life-giving God,
we gather in Your name,
As you gather us in your love,
joined to one another by you, the true Vine,
rooted and held in Your love.
You call us to abide in You,
to find our belonging not in what we do,
but in who we are and in whose we are —
beloved branches of Your living presence.
We thank You for this gathering today —
for familiar faces and for those joining us for the first time.
Each person here is of infinite worth,
a bearer of Your image,
a treasured part of the growing, flourishing whole.
Though we are scattered across the land,
joining from many homes and places,
may we feel Your Spirit moving among us today.
Through our screens and our silences,
in our words and our prayers,
help us feel joined together in root and branch
through our connection in you, and to sense our deep belonging in Your love.
As we meet, learn, and share,
may Your Spirit move among us:
healing what is wounded,
renewing what is weary,
and grafting us ever more deeply into Your life of love.
We hold before You those who suffer in body, mind, or spirit,
and our world so in need of healing and hope.
May our belonging in You make us channels of Your peace —
carriers of compassion, courage, and care wherever we go.
Teach us to draw from the deep roots of grace,
that our words and work may bear fruit —
hope, wholeness, and love for the world You cherish.
And may all that we do and all that we are
give glory to You,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
now and always.
Amen.
