Most Merciful and Loving Father,
With Whom nothing is impossible,
We long for you to restore the light of reason
To those who are in mental darkness and despair
(particularly those who come to our minds as we pray).
May Your Great Love encompass them
and may they yet enjoy,
in the quiet recesses of the spirit,
unclouded communion with You,
until all discord and confusion are dispelled
and Your Eternal Peace and Tranquillity possess their souls.
