What will you explore?
Across four two-hour sessions, you’ll explore:
1. The story of healing:
Discover the place of healing within the story of Scripture and the history of the Christian Church.
2. What do we mean by healing?
Explore different dimensions of healing and consider what it means to think about the whole person, body, mind, heart, relationships and spirit.
3. Healing well
Think about good, safe and compassionate practice in Christian healing ministry, including some of the difficult questions and experiences that can arise.
4. Becoming a healing presence
Reflect on your own experiences, your church’s current ministry and the possibilities for the future. Consider where God might be inviting you to grow.
Throughout the course, there will be opportunities to learn, discuss, reflect and pray.
