Dying into Eternal Life
This edition of Chrism is about death, dying and funerals. We start by looking at aspects of Waiting to Die, paying particular attention to the perspective of relatives of people whose death is approaching. We then delve into the theological underpinnings of our audacious Christian belief in eternal life in heaven, and do so by reference to the work of Helen and Douglas House. Preparation for and conduct of funerals in the parish context is the topic of the third main Chrism article.
