The Denis Duncan Lecture 2017

The Denis Duncan Lecture 2017 will be delivered by

Speaker: The Very Revd. David Lunan, Moderator of the Church of Scotland (2008)

David was Moderator of the Church of Scotland General Assembly 2008-9. Prior to this he was Minister at Renfield St Stephen’s church in Glasgow, and convened the Board for health and healing.

The Revd. Dr. Denis Duncan was a Scottish minister who had a huge influence on the healing ministry. To commemorate his life, the Guild of Health and St Raphael hold an annual lecture in his name to explore all aspects of healing, health and wellbeing for Christians and churches. The Guild of Health and St Raphael is an ecumenical organisation working with partners including the Church of Scotland and the Episcopal church of Scotland to bring together lay and ordained to explore together our Lord’s call to heal and all aspects of wellbeing from a Christian perspective.
